Ronald McDonald VU House

The Ronald McDonald VU House in Amsterdam is a very special house for our office. We designed the whole interior as well as most of the furniture. The house has 18 guestrooms at the first and at the second floor. At the ground floor are located the entrance and the office, as well as all the common spaces such as living rooms, dining room, kitchen and a terrace.

A Ronald McDonald House is a house where the family of a hospitalized child can stay for a short or a longer period; very close to the hospital where the child is being treated. We created a ‘home’, a pleasant, home-like place, where the family can have privacy as well as the opportunity to meet and have contact with other families.
